Cumbria Information, Advice and Support
We provide one to one confidential information, advice and support services across Cumbria for those who are deaf hard of hearing or have dual sensory loss and their family/carers. Services are delivered at your home, in the community and remotely.
This service includes:
- Welfare benefits
- Housing
- Debt
- Employment
- Understanding and applying for Access to Work
- Advice on consumer issues and community care
- Access to Cumbria Council services
- Advice on access to legal services
- Information regarding local/national services, activities, training and opportunities available.
- Support to access local social, leisure and community activities.
Specialist Equipment Support
We can also provide specialist equipment such as pager systems, personal and domestic hearing loops, minicom/textphone equipment, home alerting systems and flashing doorbells.
